So, tomorrow the deal is going down. I'm also going to be getting mine ready to sell. This is what mods I've go on my truck:

    Satoshi grill
    Trail Gear bumper
    Hella 500's behind the grill
    Cooper ATP 31's
    MB 16" wheels
    Toytec/Bilstein 5100 front
    AAL rear
    Toolbox
    Blacked out logos
    Deckplate mod
    JVC cd/mp3 player
    Ultragauge
    Blinker relocation mod

The only things I plan on keeping for the new truck are the Ultragauge and the toolbox. I'm on the fence about swapping out the blinker relocated corner lights because I like them better up there, compared to the crappy bumper ones.

I'm getting rid of everything else so I can start from scratch. I'm wanting to go with a plate bumper this time, so the TG is gone.

Now for the advice of the wise TW sages:

His truck has a 3" lift with a spacer lift up front and blocks in the rear...don't you'd think it'd be worth the time to take that crap off and put in my Bilstein/Toytec & AAL on?

Hey, it worked! It looks like the first ever servicing was at Capital Toyota in Chattanooga, TN in 2005 @ 18,171, which leads me to believe that it's stayed in the South (thank God)

It had the air flow meter replaced in 2006, lower ball joints replaced later in 2006, it made it GA in 2008 and had a differential fluid leak, so the seals were replaced, and in 2009 it had the driver window motor replaced and that's the last of the Toyota dealer history...nothing too major and no signs of being up North!!!

Pretty awesome tool, doncha think? I think it works better than Carfax.

I would think this would rate as a "sticky".

Still driving my '01 PreRunner. After I get everything settled with the '03 tomorrow, I'll begin the process of selling the '01.

Awesome man! I would swap everything that you want/will need to do eventually. I'd swap the blinkers tbh, save the hassle. Just buy cheap TG blinkers and use that for your old one.

I'd swap the grille too, if its color matched just redo the paint

In his defense, I almost bought a wrecked prerunner. I didn't know it was a 2 wheel drive from looking at it. At the last minute I noticed there were no half shafts. Whew!

I would keep the Satoshi, but I did such a poor bondo job on it that I'd rather just buy a premade one from HomerTaco (I've already pm'd about it lol)

Sadly, when I bought mine, I knew it was 2WD. I regretted it a few days after buying it. It's a great truck, but not being a 4WD is a deal-breaker. My original plan was to do a 4WD swap, but it's such a pain in the ass.

So, you don't need a Blue Book on it then I take it?
Hope it all works out for you. Buying a new truck is exciting! :)

Hey, one of y'all might know the answer to this:

The new truck has a cold air intake. Of course, there's the intake and the big fat air tube going to the engine. There's a little black hose going into the big air tube right in the middle of it; it looks like most of the rubber hoses in the engine bay and screw clamps onto a nipple on the air pipe. I didn't really have time to dive into the engine and find the origin of the little black hose, as I was on my lunch break and in work clothes. Any thoughts of what might be running to the pipe?

    EDIT:

Something like the red hose here:

    Or the black hose here:

EDIT: I believe it's the port for either the mass air sensor :notsure:
