    Yo!

Is anyone in the general east bay (anywhere east of Orinda along 24/680/4) able to help me tomorrow after work (around 5:30/6PM) to help me lift up my car with a jack?

I have to straighten out (by positioning it not saying its bent!) my sway bar because I think it is causing some weird issues veering off to the side randomly. I tried doing it myself but my jack doesn't go high enough even with 2 2x4's on top of it.

Mainly - I would just need to borrow your jack/parking spot and then help lifting the wheels high enough to take them off to straigten my sway bar.

Pics below to show what I mean.

Driver's side - enough room to fit my whole index

Passenger's side - barely enough room to fit my index.

I would be very surprised if you were able to bend a swaybar. What are you comparing to in the pics? Can you take some from a little further back?

I dont think its bent - I think we had put it on off center at a mod day so I just want to slide it over a bit

Two pics is comparing the amount of space between the sway bar to the frame on driver's and passenger's side. Passenger side also has little room from where the sway comes up to the bottom of the shock. If there was any flex then it would rub/hit the bottom of the spring.

Installed some 6112s in the front but they are set to stock height so no lift on front or rear

Spray down the two mounts ( rubber mounts ) with glass cleaner and put a good length prybar on it and it'll move . Or loosen the mounts and move it over . No need to jack it up.

Not enough to have a build thread.
2nd this. There's no load on a sway bar when you're on level ground. Just loosen up the mount bolts and it should slide.

Sorry if I'm the cause of this.

It's no one's fault but my own for not checking. Glad its not anything too major though - I ended up shifting it over a bit last night but in order to get the equal amount of space on both sides it requires two people with steady hands lol

I ended up giving extra room to the passenger in comparison to the driver and the drive to work today was much better. The pull is more gradual in comparison to before and it could just be the crown of the road causing it at this point. Regardless - it does seem to have alleviated the issue!
