I have no more fuses so off to the auto parts store. What size should I get? Any reason it would blow? I did nothing out of the ordinary so clueless at this point.

Don't get a larger fuse! That's a 15A fuse which would be good for over 150W at 12V. You are trying to drive 20W, 40W for the pair - so just 3A. You are pulling more than 5 times the expected load. So something is shorted some place. You'll need to find the short.

there should be no reason to go larger, the only thing I can think of is the hot wire grounded out somewhere

How would I go about finding the short? The two looms from the fog light marry into what I'm guessing is the head lights then to the fuse box. It's one big loom tucked away under the battery.

before you start digging into the wiring loom just change the fuse and re-wire the lights and check if the fuse blows again. start simple..

Ok so picked up a box of fuses and wired the lights upon a little trouble shooting there is two wires a white and a green. The green is the hot and that explains why they burned out cuz I had white on white which actually was -/+ future reference the green wire is the +. Thanks for all the help the lights are bright as all hell

Awesome, glad you got it sorted and only lost a fuse and little bit of your time!

When wiring to the factory fog connection please be sure to confirm Positive and Negative polarity before installing. If wired incorrectly the lights will blow the OEM fuse. Toyota can be a little inconsistent so it's better to fully check before crimping all the connectors or soldering the leads together. Our lights have the following wiring layout (White = Positive Current + , Black = Negative Current). It looks like they were most likely wired incorrectly and the factory fuse was blown. Our lights do have reverse polarity protection to help prevent damage to the light if the wires are reversed. If I remember correctly, the factory fog wiring is (Green = Positive Current + , White/Black = Negative Current)... Like I said Toyota can be inconsistent between years and models so I would double check before fully installing.

Are you replacing the factory fogs with these or adding them? If they are additional, get a relay harness($10 bucks on Amazon) and wire the trigger wire to the positive side of the factory fogs. If you are replacing the factory ones, then wire them first with lights and switch off(maybe even battery disconnected) and after both are wired up then put new fuse in and try them, idk why led fogs would be pulling more amps than incandescent bulbs, but larger fuse is almost always a bad idea you might get away with going from say a 5 amp to a 7.5 amp but they are designed to protect the circuit so it was determined that the circuit can handle x amount of amps for a reason and could be a fire if you go larger.
