My 2015 won't go into gear it was working before and now 15 minutes later it's not its in park but it won't let me put it in gear also none of the gear lights on the dash are on not even the park light. What's wrong with it?!?!? I was trying to install some Aux reverse lights on my rear bumper and tapped into my reverse wires but idk if that could have done it?

Did you check any of the fuses that would be related to what you were working with?

What Rock Lobster said if you need to move it. I would start by checking fuses, even ones you don't think would have anything to do with the reverse lights. It's the easiest thing to check first

Probably grounded the brake light wire by accident. Verify your brake lights aren't working? If they are not working, check the 10A fuse labeled "STOP" in the fusebox under the hood. If the fuse is burnt, no current flows through the brake pedal switch, which supplies a signal to the shift lock ECU to release the shift lock.

I would try the above and possibly undo what you you touched wiring if immediately after it wouldn't shift.

Shifter won't move unless you are pressing the brake pedal down.

The signal that the brake is pressed is the same circuit as the brake light.

Doing electrical work without the battery disconnected can result in grounding a power lead and blowing a fuse.

No signal from the brakes because the fuse is blowed up good means no shifty.
