I've only had my truck for a few months and I'm already in the hole $1200, along with half the purchase of the truck. Other than an Xbox and a few games all of my money from my part time has gone into the truck

Oh yeah...I do that all the time.

Unfortunately, I'm 22 and should be moving out of my parents house, but they need me there right now (both parents got laid off), so I help them in any way I can...but the days that my dad is home or takes his motorcycle to work, I'll drive the Smart Car all day...no shame :anonymous:

I used to have the Taco bug big time a couple years ago but I slowed down a lot cause I've pretty much modded it out the way I want and I'm more into my dirt bike right now so all my money goes into that hobby. I'll always be a TW guy at heart though and thats why I am still around till this day. :)

Lol i do the same thing.. after paying my truck payment and everything i usually have about $100 for gas and just spending money. So I spend about $50 in gas and use the other $50 to save for mods :p and im constantly looking for things to buy and stuff to improve it. I wish i had more money but i make do

This is an addiction for sure.. However I like to think of it this way: Most addictions when you OD, 9 out of 10 times your dead or a vegetable. When you OD on a Taco addiction, you end up with a badass motha-f*ckin truck!!

You guys need to find better girlfriends/wives. :p

Mine bought me rims for the truck because "stock is ugly". Never does she bitch about me buying stuff for my truck as she has an automotive degree and loves to wrench on cars as well.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Nope, I'm doing a frame off resto on an old Willys Jeep, it's really slow going and occupies my mind most the time. My truck is my DD so for now it will remain as stock as possible. Although, the first mod I have in mind is the URD supercharger for the 4 banger once I get out of college and start working.
