My OEM windshield replacement & install at a local glass shop was $702.11 and I only waited one day for the glass shop to attain the replacement windshield.

I got a tiny rock chip about two weeks ago and that was the first thing I did was got a repair kit from AutoZone.

I still haven't used the kit though. Lol. The chip doesn't look too bad and I've had some rock chips on previous vehicles where it never spread; but then again I've seen other people have a small chip turn into cracks across the windshield so I'm going to use the kit soon.

Same here, had two bad chips on my old car. One stayed as a nice round chip, the other has now spread halfway across the windshield.
