So what exactly will this do, make it so just the headlights are on, no tails or marker lights?

I think what OP is saying is that he has auxiliary lighting that he wants turned off when the headlights turn on... not that he wants all his other lights to turn off when headlights are on, that would make no sense. It is very very simple. Assuming you have your aux lights already wired up, you will need 1 relay per auxiliary light source. For example, if you have 4 flood lights on a light bar, but they are only powered by 1 relay/switch, then you need 1 relay to make this work. If you have 4 lights on the front powered by 4 different relays but only 1 switch, you still only need 1 relay. However, if you have several different sets of lights that you want turned off and they all use different switches, then you need 1 switch relay per switch. Hope this made sense.

Now, to wire your "cut-off" relay, follow the directions below. Your relay should have 5 pins on it labeled 85, 86, 87, 87a, 30. Make your connections as follows:

30- input from switch that powered your aux lighting
87a- switch output wire (other side of 30)

(essentially you find the wire coming off your switch that powers your aux lighting, cut the wire in half, the switch side goes to pin 30 and the light/relay side goes to pin 87)

    87- NOT USED
    85- (-) Negative chassis Ground
86- (+) 12v wire that is powered up when your low beams turn on. This wire can be found behind either headlight. You only need 1 light to trigger this relay.

Now when you turn on your low beams, anything that is turned on by your switch will now get cut off. For multiple accessories/switches, just add relays together as shown below:

oops sorry I didnt read your most recent reply before posting this. It is still accurate but your only going to use 1 relay. Can you tell me how your demon lights are wired? Just to and accessory wire Im assuming correct? or are they on a switch?

Basically whatever wire goes to the (+) positive to power your 2 leds, cut that wire in half somewhere easily accessible where you can put a relay. It should only be 1 wire for both headlights. The side of that wire that goes to the LEDs get connected to pin 87A. The other side which goes to either your switch or your accessory wire or relay or whatever its connected to (the power side) gets connected to pin 30.

Then low beam headlight wire gets tapped onto and run a wire to pin 86.
Pin 85 goes to ground, and pin 87 is not used.

You need a standard 5-pin automotive relay found and any automotive store (pepboys, autozone, orileys, etc.

Actually that will work. I'm assuming you only have 1 little led per light, which means you can ground each led separately then connect both led positive wires to your DTRL circuit ans it will all be automatic. No need for switches or anything.

    Thanks Luka & ProForce.
I only have 2 wire come out from the demon light right now, have not install switch yet.
So is it i only have to use one relay to contol both side? And I don't think I have DTRL on my 09

09+ should come standard with DTRL unless you uninstalled it. It is your turn signal lights. Start the truck and disengage the e-brake. Your 2 center amber signals should turn on solid with your headlights off. When you turn the headlights on, then the signals lights turn off.

If you do have DRLs (which you should if its an 09) then your LEDs (1 per side) should have 2 wires each. 1 for ground and 1 for power. Ground the negative wires on your leds individually, then take the passenger side positive led wire and connect it to the driver side led positive. Then that wire gets fused with a 2.5 amp fuse, and tapped into the wire that controls your dtrl. No need for a switch or a relay at all. This is the perfect setup and super super easy and basic. Demon eyes will be on anytime the headlights or off, and then automatically switch off when headlights are turned on (low or high beam) you can add a switch to the positive wire as a manual kill/override switch but still won't need a relay. 2 small leds have a very very small current draw. You also make it a 3 way switch... center position 1 is off at all times, down position 2 would be fully auto as described above, and up position 3 would be on on-demand. It could be a small hide-a-way switch that takes up hardly any space and can be hidden to not look tacky. I can draw a diagram if you don't know how a 3 way switch would be wired and you want to go that route.

ProForce, my question is DTRL, are they really will trun on at day time? :D:p
Since when I go out to turn off the headlight, the only place light up is the side marker light, when i turn on the head light, the turn sigal light did not come out, unless I turn on the signal.

If i read it right your saying your center lights only come on with your signals and hazards, but no light any other time correct? That would indicate you DO NOT have factory DRLs. So back to the drawing board... Could hook it too your parking light circuit (corner lights... oh wait NVM that wont work either since they are on with the headlights... OK so your only option is this:

Following the diagram above, you can stop where indicated after pin 30 and the entire on/off system will be automatic. If you choose to add a switch, then a 2 position switch gives you the ability to leave auto or manually shut off. A 3 position switch also adds the capability to manually turn ON anytime as well as off anytime and also the auto function as well. Your choice. Simple enough though. Looks crazy but its really pretty basic. Just do exactly what it says to do in the diagram above.

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
I have 09 without DTRL. I usually just leave the headlights on.

I appreciate the wiring discussion here since I'm considering fogs, dtrl and auxiliary lights up front for the dark roads.

I think I would have aux lights wired to operate on their own then just turn the headlights off leaving the other lights on.
