Installed my Winch on my ARB deluxe Bull BAr. In the process I was trying to mount the Hawse Fairlead and realized it did NOT match up the way it was suposed to mount up.

If I screwed it in to the bottom mounting screws, there would be half of the hole blocked with 1/4" plate steel from the ARB bumper.

I was presented with a couple interesting options here.

    1. Drill holes on both sides and mount the Hawse in the center where it belongs.
    a. in doing so, I would have to use washers, and space the winch back a little to accomodate the bolts from the hawse.

    2. CUT the opening down 1.5" and mount the Hawse where it is suposed to mount.

    3. Use a roller fairlead - possibility of pinching the Synthetic rope.

    4. Find an actual Offset Hawse Fairlead - found a couple

    - I called ARB first when I realized the issue. They are NOT offering any solutions in the future and reminded me they built the bumpers around the Roller FairLead. They suggested all of the above I had already thought up myself.

    - Called WARN. I got a chuckle out of the guy and he gave me the story of them and Synth Rope in the 90's how they were laughed at in the industry. He told me they had been in talks with ARB about the issue and that ARB wasn't budging. I asked about the Offset Hawse FairLead, "nope, we do not offer one for sale, There are companys that offer them , but we do not, and have NO plans to offer one."

Damn, 2 calls and no love.

I found a couple on the net, and one in particular I liked. Funny thing is the maker, http://kingonewinch.com/ , doesn't have it on their site. I found it for sale in Australia, but they do NOT ship internationally. Company is chinese based, and I have not got an email response back from them yet. Found it on Ebay too. But again, in AU and they DO NOT ship internationally.

This thing is not cheap either. $119.00 plus shipping.

Can anyone help me find one Stateside, or that will ship stateside?
I was hoping for a polished aluminum one.

I feel $50-$60 for one of these if fair. Not over $100/

If theres a shop state side, they could probably CNC me one in an hour or so. Easy sale.

Been some time since i installed mine. Has been working fine. Winched out a driver from a ditch friday. Still no issues with it. I like the 'lip' that puts the fairlead over the edge of the plate bumper on the inside.
