My 2009 Access Cab has started losing power for a couple of seconds at a time then smooths out. The only light on the dashboard is the "tire pressure" light. When I got home, I noticed the brake lights would come on for a few seconds and then go out randomly while sitting in the driveway, not running. Has anyone else had this problem or have any advice?

Something like this happened to one of my friends. Turns out squirrels had been chewing cables up in the engine compartment.

Are your brake lights low on fluid?

I would address the brake lights first (likely a bad or mis-adjusted switch).
I'm not sure what year it was added but newer vehicles have a safety feature called brake override, if the ECM detects a brake signal it will reduce engine power to allow the vehicle to be slowed down in the event of a stuck throttle.
