Help needed Near disaster and I’m embarrassed to admit it

A Chevy salesman told me a story where a woman purchased a brand new Tahoe from him. About a week later the truck caught fire and burnt to the ground. Insurance did an investigation and found out what started it. Root cause? The main wiring harness was accidentally cut on the assembly line during assembly which eventually caused an electrical short, sparking and eventually caught the sound deadening mat and carpet on fire. GM ended up taking responsibility and gave the owner a brand new Tahoe and some financial compensation to avoid a lawsuit. Luckily the vehicle was not in a garage when it ignited.

Btw I didn’t cut any wires on the truck whatsoever

 

My setup I also mounted a noco battery maintainer/charger on the passenger side behind the air filter casing. I also have new terminal with a 100amp in fuse block from blue sea ordered.. I ran 2 gauge awg from circuit breaker to battery and 4 gauge awg to aux box and ground. I probably overlooked conduit and heat shrink on the bigger gauge wires I ran but I wanted to be on the safe side. Thanks to this forum I was able to do this from reading and browsing the tons of information all across it.
