    Aloha
    First time post.
Been relentlessly researching these forums and internet if the Mickey Thompson Classic 3 would fit on my stock 2001 Prerunner SR5. Some forums say it will fit; some say not. So before I get these wheels shipped to Hawaii I would like to see if anyone has had any experience.
    Classic 3 - 16x8 4.5 BS 0 offset.

Would like to get these wheels with some larger 265/75/16 tires. Like I said truck is stock suspension. I even sent MT an email and this was their reply:
Toyota Tacoma's are a bit of a nightmare with wheels. This is due to the fact that they can run multiple brake calipers which can cause issues with fitment and clearance. With 16 inch wheels you will have to do a test fit to your vehicle to confirm fitment, as we cannot confirm on our end with the different possibilities in brake configurations from the manufacturer. If you are interested in our wheels take a look at 17 inch sizes, as you should have a much easier time fitting the larger diameter wheel to the vehicle.

But then I saw posts of 1st gens running these wheels. Super confused!!! Not sure the 17” wheels would look good on my truck. Stock rims are 16”.

    Any advice appreciated.
    Thanks!

If I get new rims for my 20 OR, they will be 17’s since I would be able to find C load tires. 255/75R17 I think look good on our trucks.

I was searching TW again and came up with this post by SCS wheels in regards the Classic 3 and similar wheels. This was a question for a 2012 not 1st gen.

    it is post 263
