antifreeze? only thing that can leak are your evap box (water), blower motor (highly unlikely as i believe they are actually not oiled) and your heater core. it would be more reasonable to me that a passenger brought something in on their feet.

It could be that your evaporator is leaking refrigerant. The refrigerant has oil in it and the condensation that builds up on the evaporator is washing off the oil that is accumilating there.

Do you notice this oil after you shut the A/C off and park the truck?

Also, next time you run the A/C and park the truck, check the water puddle under your truck. If it has oil in it also, then that would mean the refrigerant is leaking.

    :notsure:
Could it be someone was cooking in your passenger seat and it is just vegetable oil, or maybe having a salad with olive oil dressing?

I agree with it probably being refridgerant oil. Sounds like a leak to me. AC still cooling as always, or do temps seem to climb more than normal?:notsure:

Hopefully it's warranted, AC stuff can get expensive.:(

Be sure it's oil and not just condensate.

    Hmmmm, intredasting?

I went and checked mine, and oddly enough, I have a very light/faint spot in the same place as yours. It looks like a grease stain similar to what you get on your shirt when eating fried food. I cannot tell for sure where it came from, but I have never noticed it before.

Damn now that you mention it...when I was washing my floor mats, I noticed a spot on my truck's carpet in the same exact spot. I hope it's not a refrigerant leak.

Hey everyone, took it to the dealer today.Tech guy came and looked at it in the parking lot and said I bet it is coming from your air flow select servo motor,(the one that changes the air flow from head to feet to defrost). We drove it into the shop and he took out the glove box and the servo motor sits right there in plain site. There was white grease all over the housing and right near the top there was a spot about the size of a M&M. He said he had seen this a few times. Said the motor gets hot and sometimes the grease will seep out the cracks. He cleaned it all up. Im out of warranty so he said to just keep an eye on it until the motor quit changing the air flow. Said it wouldnt hurt anything and it also may never mess up. So im just gonna watch and see what happens.
If yall want to look at yours it sits just left of the glove box after it is removed. I will take a picture tomorrow and post it up.

Here is the motor. Most of the oil/grease was coming out from the silver screw/plug in the middle. It rotates when the control knob is moved.
