Hi, I'm new to this forum, looks awesome. I spent most of my work day today reading through some threads.

    I bought my second Tacoma yesterday, '03, 4x4, 4cyl, ext cab, sr5.
(wrecked my last one into the back of a semi)

It looks as if there is a bulb out in the speedo area because half of it is bright and half is dim.

I was thinking about unscrewing some things to get to it but wanted to check here first. I found some threads on the matter but they were for the 2nd gen Taco's.

Has anyone replaced a light on this model?

    Thanks!

Yes I have. I don't have one in front of me though so I will do my best off knowledge.

    1. take out 2 screws in bezel around speedo (at top)
    2. There should be 3 to 5 screws holding the speedo assembly in
    3. wrestle speedo out a little, then disconnect connectors in back

This is where things get foggy....

the bulbs should screw out with half a turn counter clockwise.

install and enjoy. If you take a pic of the speedo cluster I can help more.
