    hello guys...

I was wondering if anyone can do a picture post on how to take out the headlights, (halogen bulbs) and replacing new ones

I'm going to change my headlights to HID this summer... just need some insight on how to take it apart myself

    thanks! :)

Are you doing a retro or using a PnP kit?

    Lots.
It's tricky. You have to slide and twist at the same time. You have to take the grill out of course. But after that pull the headlight towards where the grill would be and twist the headlight vertically. It will come out eventually it just takes some time.

Well, if you say kit then all you need to do is to remove the light bulb, no need to remove the whole headlight assembly. Now if you do the whole retro, then you'll need to remove the headlights.

yeah, should be able to pop the rubber out and take out the bulb. if it's too tight, just unscrew, push towards the middle of the truck then twist and push in, the right side headlight comes out completely turned sideways.
