data pic shown on the media is from March 16, floating debris would have drifted considerably, if it is even afloat anymore. Still, much better clue than anything else. Military search data may have access to better/different/ or more current satellite images. Currently major storm in the area, making estimating tracking, visual locate and confirmation very difficult at the moment.

I haven't read or heard if any of the planes investigating these floating aircraft pieces are throwing out sonobuoys by the dozen or if they are just looking for a visual. I have seen video on CNN of a sonobuoy being thrown out the back of a C130 but I don't know if that's just 'file footage'

Looking at the satellite pictures I'm not seeing what they are seeing

 

I'm on tomnod today. I think I found a military base with missile launch pads and definitely some missile storage facilities.

I guess Malaysia said today that they learned some new information from satellites and they are certain it crashed in the ocean. But they still haven't found physical proof.
