    Well.
Considering you shit all over the OP's thread when he was genuine in his posting about trying to locate the fallen airliner in which hundreds of people are missing and presumed dead. Families grieving over dead children and relatives. Idk. Just don't think this was the place or time to post your douchbaggery.

If there was an inflight emergency one of the pilots should have dialed in 7500 7600 or 7700 on the transponder immediately... Agree

No mention of any ACARS Info

The Mode S transponders give more flight info to ATC ... The mode C is just altitude IIRC

The code for the flight deck door is known by several crewmembers and if security procedures aren't followed ... Might happen

Anyone find anything with OPs website ? I haven't

Ah he'll no! Don't talk about Vegas till you live here... Jk the strip is always shit, Disney characters trying to sell you water bottles that they pull out if the recycling and fill up with the water from the water lines on the sides of hotels. I was born here and there is very little that you can do till your 21 and even after that, it's not that fun. There is great food anywhere you go. Seafood may not be the freshest, but it sure beats what they try to serve up in reno...

This whole thing is sad and scary to think that in today's day and age of technology that a whole plane can go missing. I hope they are found and the families and friends get some kind of closure on this! I will check the map and see what if anything I can do to help!

Ah hell no! No I don't care what you say about Reno. I have no complaints, I enjoy the mountains and snowboarding that are 15 minutes away. Seafood is iffy though anywhere but on the coast in my opinion.

If it was one of the pilots or FO that had ill intent, could something be done from anywhere else on the aircraft?

The only areas I know of are the forward baggage compartment and the electronics bay under the flight deck

Only way into the fwd baggage is the exterior baggage door

2 ways into the electronics bay ... 1 hatch from the ground and 1 hatch from just behind the flight deck

    Both areas are pressurized too

There might be a crew rest area in the back - depending on model

    Bad things could happen fast

There is a RAT (ram air turbine) that can be used if the 777 loses electrical power which would provide enough electricity/hydraulic power in an emergency as long as the aircraft has enough airspeed to turn the turbine

Don't understand the complete loss of power story

I know a lot of pilots keep a handheld VHF radio in their flight bag

Now the Malaysian govt is saying that the aircraft made a left turn and traveled back over Malaysia to the WSW - hundreds of miles off course

So everyone has been looking in the wrong area ... for days

    Wow

Excuse my ignorance as I haven't been following much of this in detail yet...

I did hear from one source that there were about 5 people who had never boarded the plane, but their luggage were on it. As if they knew about something just before or maybe got scared and backed out of a plan of some sort.

It is at all possible they didn't even crash? Perhaps disabled everything and landed the plane elsewhere and have all the passengers as prisoners/killed?

I tried it a few minutes ago and it said it was down for maintenance and now it's loading some stuff just not maps. Maybe it'll be back up soon.

    I bet it's getting overwhelmed.

I guess anything is possible at this point ... My guess now is the plane landed/crashed somewhere in Indonesia

That's a hard aircraft to hide if it did land successfully

;), I know that.... and you are correct about mode-C transponders.
