Hey guys I was wondering if I could get some help. Last week I got a check engine light, It came up as "P0401 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Insufficient Detected" I have a 2000 Tacoma base 2.4 L 4-cyl with 173xxx miles I know some things that can cause this code to come up but does anyone have suggestions of what it might be? Is my model of tacoma know for a certain issue with this code? Maybe it's just an bad or clogged EGR valve? Thanks guys any suggestions are welcome!

For me, it was a dirty EGR temp sensor. Remove, cleaned, re-installed.
    Problem solved.
