I’m in desperate need of Part Number
89730-yy140, Anti Theft Warning Module. It’s for a 2003 Toyota Tacoma Pre Runner Extended Cab 3.4 Liter. I’ve literally searched online for days with no luck.

I tried that one and I received a message that it was outdated and unavailable.

I’ve called several locate yards with no luck. I barely missed one truck, it was crushed the week before I called.

Pull your unit; it'll be an RS3000 or RS3200

Have seen them come up in the used section many times for cheap

Bet you can find it in a junkyard too and even Ebay; several Toyota models use the same module

Yeah, I saw that one also. I have get where my headlights work if I short it out. May continue with that before I spend $500 for the part right now.

Car-part.com lets you search junkyards across the US. It works great, and a lot of junkyards will gladly ship you the part once you find it.

I’m rebuilding a truck that a guy ran in a flooded out area and drowned it. So a lot of the boards are fried in the modules.

You can remove the security system as it's a stand-alone setup.

Not required for the vehicle to operate.

Many people hate it, and most don't even have it.

Now knowing that the vehicle had been flooded, I'd be partial to spending as little as possible.

Even eliminating parts not necessary versus replacing them.

Man, what you need is a donor truck to pick parts off of. Flood damage ain't no joke.

Remove it. Removed mine, and don't miss it a bit.
