Why do so many people think that Blows stuff is so good. One can get so much better, for so much less.

I've got a Harman Kardon AVR 325 receiver and honestly I love it. Cerwin Vega 12 inch sub and two technics speakers for the fronts. I was going to get Cerwin Vega or Polk mids and rears but lost intrest in the whole home audio thing.

Some of there old speakers sounded pretty good. But others have caught and surpassed them. And there stuff was always weird ohm wise.

Bottom line is "sounds good" is a personal thing. It always intrigues me to see people get into the audiophile thing and see where it leads them. So long as they have fun it is fun to be involved with, no matter $300 or $30000. I am very particular about how my audio system sounds/preforms but to most it seems ridiculous to have a huge investment in a system that only plays music. I guess its the same with our trucks

    My Audio System:
    Nu Force IA-7 amp
Cambridge Audio 840 C CD Player
    UPI Class 1C Turntable
    Focal Chorus 807 V Loudspeakers
Focal Chorus SW 700 V Subwoofer

I agree 100%. Different people who are all very knowledgable and good at home theater can and will disagree over the best amp, speakers, etc. It all comes down to personal taste in the end, especially with high-end stuff. It's all good after a certain point.

Since we are describing systems, I have right now:

    Onkyo TX-NR708 receiver
    PS3
    Aperion Audio 5T front towers
    Aperion Audio 8D sub
    Aperion Audio 4B surrounds
    Sony 52" XBR LCD

Don't see myself upgrading for a long while, except maybe a plasma in a couple years...

Very Nice! Sick A/V Amp, I love Yamaha products, I am on my 4th a/v receiver from them. The first I bought was in '93. I wish I had the coin to get the same one but I blew too much on my audio only system.
