    Thanks to this thread, I got the damn thing working. I got the newer PL8547HD model for my 2020 DCSB OR. The instructions kept referencing things that I didn't know what or where they were, like the IC1 connector for example. Apparently my eyes are bad because the IC1 connector was, in fact, gray but I initially thought it was white. Any how, as was mentioned in another thread, the new model's long cable was about a foot short so had to get some 18 gauge wire and some butt connectors to extend it. Also had to buy some cable sheathing or whatever it's called to protect the additional length. May not be an issue if you choose to go to passenger side or rear driver door. I also found it slightly easier to take the tailgate off to install the grommets. I just marked them the cables at the correct length (where the grommets should go) before removing the tailgate.
