    Um...yes. It worked great for me. The dealer will build in extra cost when they put the vehicle into inventory via their accounting practices. It's called "packing the vehicle". I worked as an accounting manager for a group of dealerships. If you have a brain, you'll always negotiate further on your own. For instance, you can ask them to see the invoice with everything broken down. Costco got me close, within $600 of invoice, I negotiated it to $150 over dealer invoice. It's not an end-all solution, but it gets you close and saves you time.

    This is the "pack" i was just talking about. It's not just for advertising, but good luck getting them to disclose everything that it's for. Our sales managers didn't even know everything we were "packing" the vehicles with...it comes down from the owners.
