Help putting photo on home screen

One more thing. I just kept hitting the load key after I got the message "cannot find usb." I hit it probably 6 times. Then, all of a sudden it loaded.

 

Maybe there is a certain time for the usb to be recognized? I will be out there tomorrow, the day has ended for me

 

you have to correctly name the folder with the images in it or it wont work

 

Did everything suggested, only thing I left out is the "" at the beginning and end of StartupImage etc. I hit that button a dozen times and it will not accept the usb. Made sure it was jpg and fat. Made the folders first ,then entered the pictures in each one. Nothing.....

 

Here is how I typed in the folder
DisplayOffImage
StartupImage
I tried both and nothing happens, can not see my USB

 

I'm having the same issue and I've tried everything that I've read on the forum as well as in the video above. I guess I'm just not holding my mouth right.

 

I am trying a different USB, that is the only thing left to try, I have a new one and I just formatted it and placed my 2 files in there, I shall see if this works

 

Do any of the headunits allow a wallpaper upload full time on the unit?

 

Maybe he head units need firmware updates to work?

I contacted my seller to see if he updated the radio prior to selling
The radio came out of a Sequoia, I emailed him and asked the year. It is a JBLs radio also with gps and map card that he updated for me, but not sure if the head unit was done. Stay tune and thanks for this other option

 

Not sure what you mean, I would like to have my picture as wall paper, by the way this radio was updated and never installed in any car. I bought it as new and received a great deal from the seller. He has helped me many times getting my phone paired and other things, but this problem has me crazy

 

Well we have the same problem, let me know if you get yours and I will do the same. I just put up the images I want on a new usb in hopes that is my problem

 

I would think firmware update would be a good step 1.

 

The seller said he did he updates to the radio. So I will leave that alone and appreciate the advice

 

Sorry Sarge I've been too busy to mess with mine however I will let you know if I get it working. Right now I've got to help my wife get her pig back in it's pen then I've got to finish installing her new dryer. The old gave us 17 years of trouble free service! I hear her coming, got to run...

 

The guys who had success, do you have the JBL systems? I read some where you cannot put up pics on JBL head unit, but this is why I come to this forum to get it first hand..

OK, I am just curious if any of the OP that were successful loading pictures on a JBL stereo.
Maybe having a JBL stereo you can not load pictures on the head unit.
Before I go to a dealer I need to find this out. I did goggle this but come up with nothing.
So if you have a JBL stereo and were able to load pictures please comment here.

 

Finally did it
Hoping to help someone else... The 2 things I did different was place the USB in first before starting the truck
Also I had too many letters and numbers attached to the pictures themselves, so I took care of that also
So it was one or the other but now I have my startup and Displayoff pictures loaded. If you want your Displayoff picture to display constant all you need to do is turn off the screen option and it will remain. Pretty cool and I hope this helps some OP who did not get it to work
