BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Can’t you put the window down then put a wedge between the glass and door frame to fit a slim jim?

If you feel around on that lock mechanism box, there should be a manual way to unlock the door. I know this sounds dumb but is the cable attached to the lock switch on the door panel? If not then the arm that sits on that cable broke inside the mechanism. It's possible to open it while inside the door and use a pick to flip it.

Happened on my girlfriends VW passat, couldnt pull door panel, had to roll down window and use a long piece of steel round bar to pop the latch. A good helper to hold a flashlight helps alot.

Call a couple quality locksmiths. You might stumble on someone who's solved an issue like this. Worst that happens is they say no..........

I also posted this to a YouTube video. Same problem. In my case I installed a new speaker, that was simple. However when I re-hung the door panel I neglected to reconnect the door lock retainers to their frame.
Ok, solution.... After much cursing and trying different approaches I used a flashlight to look at the space between the back of the door handle and the plastic frame (who am I kidding, there was no metal involved except the cable and the spring). Anyway..... I could see the green retainer clip in that space. So I started moving things around as much as possible to access the cable. Everything is plastic and there is a lot of lubricant in there. The whole assembly just popped out. I took a pair of needle nose pliers and pulled the green capped cable.... OPEN!! It took a while to figure out how to reassemble the door handle. There are only 4 pieces, but they kind of jumped out of the space with no time to figure out how it went back together. I was just happy I could open the door. There was no way to get the panel off with the door closed short of using a sawsall. With no instructions it took some time to fix the door handle. As it turns out the plastic frame, lock, handle and spring just snap together. The spring was the hardest part, but in the end I pushed it in and it snapped into place. It is all back together and working fine.
