I have been neglecting the wash on my truck for a while now and as I am washing it I realized that these stains have accumulated all over my hood and roof. I am assuming that they are from the pine tree above my driveway at my new house.
If anyone has any tips, tools, or tricks to restoring and removing these brown sh** stains I am all ears. Currently being garage kept in preparation for Hurricane Dorian.

The super white is pretty when it’s clean. But when neglected it sucks ass to clean it good. It also sucks being a single stage paint. It will start oxidizing if keep neglecting it. Trade it in for a MGM.

I would use clay bar then apply polishing compound and lastly apply wax/ceramic coat.

Not that difficult ,all can all be done by hand. Its just time consuming. Applying ceramic coating needs full attention tho, cannot miss any spots when buffing it out.

    Good luck man!

Lets see some photos when its all done!

Try carnauba wax... I’ve discussed this with some boat painters that works with me and I’ve been told not to use any abrasive compound.. it will remove all stains but you would be removing slowly the clear coat paint.. so I would not use any abrasive compound.. clay bar and wax...

Ps: I have a white taco and I feel you.. it is painful sometimes to get her all clean and spotless..

Does the white have a clear coat or is it single stage?

I do not know man... even if it’s a single stage paint you would be eating it if you use any abrasive compound... for now I’ve been using car soap and carnauba and I have successfully removed all stains.. plus the carnauba wax is water repellent and super easy to apply...

While it is single stage paint, there IS clear coat mixed in. Its not simply a base coat which will oxidize. Lexus does the same to some of its black colors.

To the OP, always use the least aggressive method first. If you're asking my opinion, it would go like this, of course least aggressive starting first: Clay --> Rubbing alcohol --> Acetone --> Wet sand --> Repaint

Agreed that abrasive/polishing compound is not the way to go initially. So many other things to try first. The bug and tar remover would be my first choice.
