So I finally got around to removing the silver pinstripe on my BSP taco, but I've run into a snag. The drivers side went flawlessly and got the left over adhesive off with some car soap. However, on the passenger side the adhesive seems 10x stronger. I've gotten about half way done because the stripe keeps breaking as I pull it off. I guess I'll try using a hair dryer or something to see if it eases the process. The left over adhesive isn't budging either, I've tried simple green, car soap, and some bug/tar remover with no luck.

Any suggestions to removing the remaining stripe and that stubborn adhesive?

hair dryer will work fine. for the leftover adhesive.....use some goo gone on a microfiber rag.....then wash the area/wax afterwards.

Like said above, a hair dryer while taking off the pin stripe to heat up the glue. The best stuff I have ever used to get residual glue off is denatured alcohol. Get some at the hardware store and it works wonders. Doesn't hurt the paint at all either.
