You are getting the help you asked for, but some of us think you need further advice when you ask a question as you did and post a pic of what would be considered a emergency trail set up to fix something, not in a garage full of said needed items to proceed safely.
I hope the wife has a nice insurance policy pulled on you.
    Thanks for playing:hattip:

Because we are trying to help you from possibly losing your life by recommending a safer means of working on your truck?...

Peeps just trying to make sure you don't kill yourself. You could ask my brothers ex father in law about doing this but, he is 6 feet under because of the same damn thing.

Holy shit, batman! I know it's been said a lot already, but as someone who has had a friend crushed under a vehicle.... ALWAYS use jack stands when in a crush zone - period. It's not worth the risk. I'd hate to see you get hurt using that farm jack or a cylinder blow out on a floor jack. Big Red makes a 6 ton jack stand that will work great for your truck. A 3 ton is not going to be tall enough to support from the chassis. Anyhow, I digress.. Looks like you already have your answer on the sway-bar removal

I didn't ask how to leave it in.
I didn't about your brother's ex father in law.
There is a Jack stand on the other side.
Yes, I put one on the passenger side along with the hi-lift after posting this.
    Thanks for the help.

Jack stand on the other side will just fall over if the hi-lift failed and you’d still be crushed.

Get the sway bar out while everyone was giving you safety advice?

Well, I think OP has felt the collective weight of TW. No need to pile on.

Wait, did you chock those rear tires???

Seriously tho, it will reluctantly wiggle out once it’s unbolted. There’s no trick, just gotta be patient with it.

No one called you a moron OP, no one trash talked your setup or your truck or why you couldnt figure out how to remove the sway bar. Instead as concerned individuals for your safety based on that picture we simply pointed out that maybe you should reconsider how you have the truck lifted in the air to avoid YOUR death and to think about YOUR safety and well being, instead you got defensive and mean spirited in your replies, really dude?

Very unsafe way to work under a truck.jpg

Sorry OP. Not to pile on, but couldn't help it. This made me think of that! ;)

Have you never seen a high lift slide on bare concrete before?
That missing 10mm socket is gonna roll out from somewhere, hit that jack foot and youll be a bag of meat and broken bones.
At least stack your tires and slide them under there.

I'l take a ride to the corner store without buckling up every once in a while. I don't wear helmets on Sunday rides through the country when back in Florida..
But you DAMN sure wouldn't find me sliding under that truck with a wrench. lol

    Good looking truck, OP.

    OP IS A GENIUS

Posted pic of sketchy jack method in order to keep the sway bar alarmists focused on safety policing something else.

    Bravo.

Toss the sway bar in your neighbors lawn and never look back. Welcome to true IFS.

They say a picture says a thousands words. It’s saying to me you don’t have much of a clue what you’re doing based on how you jacked the truck and asking for help on how to get the sway bar out. Based on that, i can collect that you’re probably laying under the truck pulling, maybe even trying to beat that thing out. Just a little movement could kick that jack out and that one jack stand isn’t going to do shit. No one is trying to knock you here, just don’t want to see you or anyone else get hurt or killed
