@BaldEagle8 Just the cap or the whole friggin bumper cover support rail too? Mine got smashed, so I have to replace not just the cap but the whole damn thing. Now it's looking like I have to disassemble the entire bumper just to replace the corner components.

@FlyFisherCJ did you ever end up replacing these parts? I crunched the right side of my bumper recently. I’m in a similar situation, the cap and piece behind it are cracked. The replacement parts just came in.

@FlyFisherCJ Honestly man, I ordered all the parts, but after staring at the schematic for a while, I just didn't want to deal with it. Yes, it's totally possible to replace it on your own, but you have to disassemble the entire bumper just to replace the side guards or caps (or whatever they're called). I ended up taking the factory parts I ordered (which by the way are almost as much as an entire 3rd party specialty bumper kit) to a Macco and those dudes put it on for like $175, which is worth my pain and suffering.

I am trying to remove the right rear (passenger side) bumper support (rear ended slightly and cracked) and it seems that I need to remove the bumper step pad before remove the bumper support, and I am trying to figure out how to remove the license plate light housing. Any help please? do I need to just remove the light socket and disconnect the wiring and do it? Or do I actually need to remove the light housing?

For all that effort, you should have just replaced it with a steel bumper. Never worry about damaging it again.

    Best move I made!

Have to do this on my bumper for the left driver side rear. Not looking forward to it. Or do I want to get a full bumper and ditch the Bsm?
