help! retro mini d2S 3.0 wont turn off

2015 white sr5 access cab tacoma 4x4

mini D2S 55w 3.0, armor tech rear bumper, white grill surround

so i installed the mini d2S 3.0 wired with the moto control box. the moto harness is plugged into the driver side stock harness.the driver side ground is connected to the factory ground location on the fender by the battery. passsenger is grounded to stock MAS ground location.the fused positve lead from the moto harness is connected to the + battery terminal. So all is well except i can no longer turn my low beams off via the stalk knob, the lights fire up as soon as the truck does and turn off when the key is off. another strange thing my high beams no longer effect my factory fog lights, they will run together now(which i like). Im worried about hid life being that they are now on at all times while the truck is running. any help would be much appreciated!
