Help! Ring fell between dash and windshield. 3rd Gen Tacoma

My wedding ring fell between the windshield and dashboard of the passenger side, any tips on getting access to back there?

I already accessed the AC filter and no luck there, but not sure if there is a way to get to back there without removing whole dash. Thank you!!!

If you know where it is, make a tool out of safety wire or something similar to hook/snag it and lift it out. There are some places where you can see the underside of the dash without removing anything on my truck. Mostly on the drivers and passenger sides out toward the A-pillar.

 

Maybe remove the speaker, also you can get to a lot of the area under dash by removing the head unit.

 

Buy a new ring and don’t tell anybody.

 

The whole piece around the radio just pulls off. Pull on the corner and go from there. Four bolts for the radio if you need more. You should be able to get in there.

 

Probably cheaper than a Tacoma these days

The interior quality of these trucks are shit. Start shaking the whole dash, i bet it will fall LOL.

Use a coat hanger, make a hook and try fishing it out. I bet it works!!!!

 

This too. Wrap some double sided tape around the end, may help grab it if your close.

 

Add nitrous. Should roll out of there when you hit the gas.

 

Can you see it when you stand outside looking at the bottom of the windshield?

I quite like the interior of my truck. And how nice and easy Toyota made pulling the dash all apart. When I replaced all the interior chrome pieces with black and put everything back in place, everything just snapped back in nice and solid, no tools. I don’t have any noises, shaking, looseness... Way better than my 3rd gen 4runner dash and interior.

 

Where did you get your pieces to black out your interior?
