Help...running board fitment

    Good afternoon fellow Tacoma enthusiast's, I was unable to locate where exactly to place this thread I am trying to purchase a set of used running boards for my 2011 Tacoma however I'm coming up short and there are quite a few offerings in the 3rd generation to come a market place I was hoping someone would in like me as to whether or not 3rd generation running boards would fit a second generation body.
    I apologize I almost forgot to mention it is a full 4 door short bed Tacoma

    Appreciate it.
    i did just mistakenly purchase a set of aluminum long bed ones, drove 2.5hrs to NJ shore, did seem long, then got home and yupp, not even close.
    So im slowly purchasing an education too ‍:annoyed:
