HELP! I am currently looking for black (but that may change depending on what fruit this post may provide) running boards. I have a white 2017 SR5 and I am hoping to see a variety of white Tacos with running boards to get an idea of what looks the best to ME. I know that I can search for tons of different ones online, but there's just something about seeing the actual product on a truck that's similar to your own already to help you make up your mind. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Second this. If you think you might even *possibly* off-road, get sliders now. Otherwise you'll be just like me, busted side steps and saving coin for new sliders...

I just bought these Lund bars for $182.00 shipped on Amazon! I've heard good things about Lund, but I'm afraid they will be junk since they are so cheap lol. Would look good on a white taco for sure.

If you just want boards, here's mine. Can't remember where I got them.
They're the Ionic 61 Running boards.

If you wheel at all get some functional sliders.

Thank you all so much for the responses. I'm looking things up and saving to Favorites all of these suggestions to run by the "financial manager" as well. Lol. This is my truck that I'm looking to upgrade.

Leveled, 33x12.5s, Westin HDX drop steps, and more to come!
I did a lot of online research for the best ones. I went with the Westin HDX drop steps. Love em!

These look nice, easy install? Also stupid question, but when did running boards become sliders? Is that just a new term or are sliders a different functionality?

Those are full on sliders my friend I have lifted the truck with them, they are bolted to the frame! As for easy they use existing bolt holes in the sides of the frame and you have to drill the some of the bottom bolts. Sliders have a function to protect the truck from trail damage, running boards are a basic step.

    Form follows function
    Running boards = decorative step
Sliders = can take a beating, slide over rocks and keep your ride damage free. Sliders can be bolted on (fairly easy to install) or welded on (requires the skill).
