No stress man. Come up to the DC area or when I'm in FL and we can hook up. Food is the universal language. Also looking at making a Propane Smoker in the portable flavor ;)

Yeah, I get that warm feeling knowing Door Ding is watching our backs too!

LOL- nah, propane gives killer headaches.

Neighbor crashed into my truck a week before the trip was to start. Postponed it a week so leaving this week.

Nice idea @skygear! I have been looking at adding a water tank in that location.

    Here's my solution, except I'm running a 6lb tank.

Best stove ever! It's built like a tank. After it gets covered in bacon grease, cheese and all kinds of food, I spray it down with degreaser and hose it off. This pic was taken right after I did just that.

And not to mention it puts out stupid BTU's.

I'm doing water, air and propane in that area. Cutting out the spare tire equipment and putting cross bars.

DoorDing, who is Relay Man? Or is that a reference to me and everyone trying to get me to get a PS stove? ;)

Iggy, what size is that PS Stove?

The AIR tank is only temporary in that spot until I get my Airtank sliders built for me.

Looks like a 16 too. What if I said Thursday early AM there was going to be something nice for me to cook on in the 22" flavor, possibly a griddle too...

@skygear it's a 18" stove. I almost went with the 22, but at most I only cook for 4 and half the time I only use 1 burner anyways. It's plenty big for two big pans, and I also use foil and the open fire to cook stuff.

22" PS and a 22" Griddle. Bill said there should be no issues with the O-Rings. He also took out the piano hinge pin for me and put in a slightly thinner wire for disassembly and maintenance per my request.

No to the quick disconnects, said they leak if you apply any pressure to them since it is a lower pressure system and doesn't seal as well as some air fittings would at higher psi.

With the 6 of us and guests frequently, it is much harder for me to use only 1 burner. In the house, I frequently have all 4 going and looking for a 5th burner

then the 5th pan was rotating out for the fresh muscles with garlic, mint, basil, and butter

Most of the time, the kids and I are cooking together. I seriously debated on that the large version stand up Camp chef. No space on the truck for that monster.

Nop, I've been busy reading all of the awesome stuff in here, specialy the pasta night part!!!

I'll get on it this weekend, looks like I'll be busy, just got all the parts for the rear diff breather mod and today I should receive my Bullaculla trailer harness bracket. And of course the propane storage solution. I was thinking of getting a smaller tank that would fit under my tonneau cover. Do you know if there is a tank out there that still holds the 20 pounds but is shorter in lenght??? And if so, would it be able to fit in the milk crate??? You guys rock, thanks for all the info and advice !!!!:headbang:

I don't have the propane requirements of some of you. I have the Cabela's brass adapter that allows me to fill the Coleman tanks from a regular 20 pound propane tank. That way I can use my Coleman 2 burner stove and my propane mini grill from Lowes.

It's another story if I'm in my trailer. It has propane lights, heat, stove and oven. It also has mounts for two tanks, though.
