Basically I am tired of my truck. I've had it for 2 years now. It's all stock minus a set of black rims and stock sized tires. I actually made the last payment on it a month ago. I actually went and test drove a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and was just going to trade it off. But, that would be foolish. No payment to another payment! So I thought, how do I make me interested in my truck again. I feel its boring. At one time I purchased a lift, and never installed it, I sold it on craigslist.

Now, I don't wish to off road in any serious way. Honestly, a gravel road, and a little smooth path through the woods is off roading to me these days.

What I want, to fit a 33/32"(285/70/16?) tire, not look like I stuffed the tires in the wheel wells. I want to be able to lift without doing UCAs and a bunch of stuff to it. My rear leafs are still 3 leaf springs, they are tired, truck sags pretty good in the rear with some weight in the bed.

    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com...ustable-lift-kit-with-5100-shocks_p_132.html#

Also are these UCAs worth a darn?

http://www.suspensionconnection.com...bmJSDWWMdWtrjppqX2-gI00jjsvEcGUNSIaAqJj8P8HAQ Price is half of everything else I find.

I was looking at this kit, set on 2nd notch. With the toytech ad a leafs.

Would this kit accomplish what I want without having to do UCAs? I really don't want to have to do UCA's. Spending 650 vs 1200. But I want it right. Or does anyone else have anything to recommend? I do not want to do a spacer lift or blocks. I'm sure this topic is beat like a dead horse over and over again.

The truck has 105k on it now, the factory shocks are pretty beat as well, so this would be a good excuse to revitalize the suspension(selling this to my wife)

Stay around 2" if you want to avoid the UCAs. That is enough to run a 32" tire (265/75/R16 or 265/70/R17). 285s are a 33. Are your rear leafs 2+1 or 3+1? If you do an AAL in the rear, I would suggest the 3 leaf progressive AAL over a single leaf, they will ride better. A full leaf pack is better, I ran the 3 leaf progressive AAL since I had the 3+1 leafs and they were brand new. You are right to avoid spacers and block.

Here are pics of my truck with a 2" front lift, 1.5" rear lift on 32s next to stock:

What parts would I utilize in the front to get 2"?

    884 with 5100s first clip?

    Rear seems pretty self explanatory.

It should actually give him a little more than 2". I think 884 coils with 5100 shocks set at 0 will give right around 2".

This is kind of what I was thinking. I am going back and forth.

Either I will go with the 5100 front with 884, and an AAL in the rear, or just go with the bilstein kit I posted, and do UCAs at the same time(I mean 105k I might have a worn bushing? Selling to the wife)

Should I do the ECGS Diff bushing at the same time?

They also have 884s as well. Not sure what kind of cab you have.

    Rear AAL:

or Only reason I'd pick Toytec over Wheelers is because I know how much shipping will be upfront.

Diff Drop: EDIT: Most places sell the same toytec diff drop, so wherever you buy your rear AAL from, get the diff drop there too to save on shipping. I ended up going with Wheelers Offroad and shipping was pretty cheap. Like $20 I think.

And don't preload your 5100s with lift coils.

Keep them at the lowest (zero) setting.

Do some research, you'll find skipping the diff drop is best.

I've read that. I will buy it 30 dollars and try without it.

Do I need the 1/4" taco lean spacer?

I bought the diff drop but haven't installed it yet. I don't really notice anything bad without it. I personally didn't do the lean spacer and I don't notice anything to the naked eye. I also didn't take measurements so I may possibly need it. I'd probably do it if I were to do it over again.

Did you do the ecgs bushing when you did the lift?
