Tried putting on my spacers this morning. Realized I didn't have enough time before work, so trying to put everything back together. Can't get the lower bolt back into the shock. Any ideas? Do I need to get spring compressors first?

try using a jack underneath the arm it might align the hole.

I tried going higher and lower. Don't know if I need spring compressors or a taller jack.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Mark the current position of the Alignment Cams on the lower control arm, and loosen the bolts enough to freely move the LCA. That should allow you to wiggle it around and slide the bolt back in.

Try to get your alignments marks to match up again, and tighten the LCA bolts to 100 ft.lbs.

Thanks benson. If that's the only way, I might just get a mechanic to do it. Hate to mess up a new truck

    Just a few
Stick a flat head screw driver under the shock and pry it up a little bit. Should be fairly easy.

A floor jack handle is always handy in these situations.
