Something to seriously consider ...On today's CBS newscast, the most reliable cars list and the least reliable cars list. Toyota 3rd from the top on the most reliable list, Mercedes second from the bottom on the least reliable list. This is no bullshit, it counts big time.

ill get up all the pics i have on my phone, by the way he's not actually my neighbor, i said that to keep it short, he live an exit up the highway from my place, and half a mile or so from my roommates place. but the story is that my roommates dad has been good friends with this guy for forever and my roommate and i go up to his house, which is on the lake, every now and then just to hang and do manly shit like talk about cars, hunting, blah blah blah

Whoa, Sonny Boy! You asked and he gave you honest advice, then you call him a troll because you didn't like his advice.
Apparently there was more said that you edited out later, after you seriously pissed him off.
I'm now sorry I gave you my own advice about reliability issues... Again, because you're a kid on Daddy's credit card.
Learn from others hard won knowledge and experience. Am I also a troll now?

By the way, take your texting lingo and put it where it belongs. We speak and type questions and answers here in English.

My dad has an M5. Well, it's his but I drive it more than anyone (40,000 miles are mine, 10,000 miles are both my parents combined), and I can tell you this. Cars get older and cheaper - maintenance on those cars DOES NOT. It will still be a 100K+ car to maintain, and at 90K miles you can bet things are going to start going wrong.

Chances are, you won't be able to afford the first major repair it needs, as it will easily be in the thousands. We (thankfully) got an extended warranty for our M5 after the factory extended one expired. In the first two months, we had a $5000 repair. Paid $100 deductible plus a few hundred to replace a part since the mechanic was in the area for another repair. Tires are $1400 for decent tires and trust me, the car eats tires.

The Benz will eat tires worse. The M5 is all top end power so until you wind it out it's fairly tame. The Benz is the opposite - all bottom end and grunt to 100 then it kind of falls flat. Because of this it will be wild with the back end all over the place and rubber burning every time you give it any gas.

From a 24 year old person that is graduated, I would advise you keep the truck. It is reliable and likely won't need any real repairs for another couple hundred thousand miles. You can't say that of ANY MB.

i typed like that because i meant to look stupid. plus that was hardly advice, he just got on my nerves with lack of knowledge. Daddy's credit card.... oh yeah thats right you totally have the right to say that, i forgot you know me personally.

GUYS CAN WE WE PLEASE STAY ON TOPIC AND STRAY AWAY FROM ALL THE HATE. ALSO! JUST BECAUSE IM 20 DOESNT MEAN I CANT MAKE MY OWN MONEY, YOU GUYS REALIZE THAT TEENS/"YOUNGSTERS" PULL THE WEIGHT OF SHITTY JOBS ALL THROUGHOUT THE WORLD THAT ADULTS DONT WANT. (for example my lifeguarding job i got after working at shitty McCdonalds for a month, mowing neighbors lawns, pet sitting which is easy money, painting, etc)

If you want to go fast the tacoma does that if you need to move the tacoma has a bed, you get run off the road like me the tacoma can handle it, the mercedes will get you speeding tickets and cost you more gas then a tacoma and while we don't get the best gas milage that car is gunna take a ton. When you miss offroading you will want the truck back don't make that mistake then regret. If you want to go fast by a motorcycle its cheaper and faster.

Keep the truck man. I wont go into details as to why you should, and what would be better.. because I don't know you or your scenario.. but for me.. if I was in your position.. as tempting as it would be.. I would keep the truck.
