I recently changed the front brake pads on my 2011 Tacoma. My truck drives perfectly, however, since I replaced the pads (though not immediately following) my check engine light and slip indicator lights have remained steady on my dash.

Any ideas what is causing this and how to fix it?

Could the brake replacement and the lights be linked or just coincidental in timing?

    Thanks for all the help!

Take it to a local auto parts store and get a (hopefully free) scan for fault codes. No way to diagnose from here until you do that.

 I thought CEL and slip lights frequently lit up together. Maybe OP nicked an ABS wire ?
