Was pulling on to the street today and my engine stalled out, electric power stayed on. The truck would crank, but not turn over. The check engine light and A/T Oil Lights are both on. Any one experienced similar. The truck is a 2012 Tacoma Prerunner v6 2 2 wheel

If it cranks then the engine is turning over. If it's not actually turning over [the engine is actually reciprocating] then you'll need to find out if it's a starter issue or if the engine is locked or you have a flywheel tooth issue.

How much gas do you have in the truck?

There’s been more than one person run out of gas with the gauge still showing that it has gas.
Add 2 gallons and see what happens. That’s easy.

    WOODY2 and Dm93 like this.

I am embarrassed to say that my gas gauge is off and I ran out of gas. Thanks y’all.

even a truck in limp mode will sit there an idle all day long.
