I have hard stiff steering since I have had my 2003 tacoma, The first owner put a 3 inch body lift and a 4 inch suspension lift on it and I believe that to have binding up my steering. I dont want to take the body lift off right now but I want the steering to be semi normal because its currently a death trap because of how tight it is. sometimes its tight some times it slighty better usually when I first turn it on, but after I drive it a bit it goes stiff on me. Ive replaced every suspension component, steering rack, and ps pump. I think the problem is the steering shaft is binding up from the body lift and the extension put on the shaft. there is no room of adjustment in the shaft even after taking it out greasing it and the rag joint and I think the rag joint is binding up either from being to high up or too low. has anyone else had this problem and if so how can I fix it?

IMHO. Lift it off the ground and disconnect the steering linkage on both sides and pivot the assemblies, if it is loose look at the rack. Disconnect the column from the rack and see if it is in the column... My money is on lower ball joints.
