It was time for new tires as the Marketplace specials finally gave up the ghost. I decided to up size from 265/65R17 to 265/70R17.

It has been well over 120k since I last installed shocks and coil overs. The leaf springs were replace even further back under recall. So I thought now was a good time to get some new suspension. Additionally, I wanted to level up the truck. I added KYB StrutPlus (RockAuto) coil overs and shocks all around and a 2” Rough Country leveling spacer. I also read it would be a good idea to do Upper Control Arms too so I replaced them with KSP for 2”-4” lift (Amazon).

My issue: Carolina Squat (see pic) with 9.5” of clearance between the front wheel and the fender and only 6” of clearance in the rear.

Apart from mixing and matching parts, Where did I go wrong? What is a likely fix? Will alignment lower the front at all?

*Keep in mind she has 380k and I’m not looking to sink a ton into her.*

Are those KYB shocks lift shocks? If they are, your combining them with the leveling spacers would be why it's sitting so high.

Try taking off the leveling spacers, and see where that gets you.

It looks like you only lifted the front and not the rear
