    Is it a pre runner? Maybe someone did a 4x4 conversion and… something something was easier.

    Looks like they were in the middle of a manual hub swap and never finished it, kind of a shitty thing not to mention.

    Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    Then it also depends on how often your Hubs are under water.

    Some Tacoma`s seem to be used as Boats.
