Would a 2009 Tacoma Pre Runner Double Cab, be able to tow a 2,200lb flatbed trailer with a 4,200lb truck on it?

Does this 2009 Prerunner have a 6 inch lift and 20 inch wheels?

No. Technically not, but you're probably close enough that a lot of people would do it anyway. Especially for short distances. You're tow capacity is at most 6500 lbs. But it is payload that will get you.

    With 35" tires, emphatically no.

So the truck won’t be able to tow it?

You might be able to get it moving. Stopping is another thing. "If the brakes dont stop you, something will."

I’ll be towing the truck and trailer about 130miles. I figured I was close enough I might be able to do it.

With that much weight I would have to pretty much triple my stopping distance

What does your owners manual say?

Reduce that 10 - 15% to compensate for your mods. (Effective final gear ratio disruption)

Another no. That’s pushing it on a stock truck. Now add your larger tires with (assuming) stock gearing, and getting going will be hell. Stopping, will also be hell trying to slow down the weight as well as the rotational mass of the tires. I’d assume there’s trailer brakes on whatever you’re trying to tow?

And put everyone else on the road at risk. Dick move. Rent something capable of towing it.
