I have had an annoying sound for awhile I cannot find. When I am turning the wheel, when making turns onto streets, i can hear a scratching/rubbing noise from behind the sterring wheel. I have pulled things apart, but haven’t had much success finding what it is. I purchased a new clockspring and installed it, but the sound is still there. Is there anything down in the steering column that could make that noise?
