Well I hope they didn't somehow dump your transmission fluid instead... wouldn't be the first time someone posted about that happening on here though. Might want to check your engine oil level on your dipstick, if it is WAY high then they probably did just that.

I'd just take it back to the place that serviced it and explain to them whats going on, sounds like they did something. If it doesn't drive, they should have it towed if they possibly messed it up.

"Won't go into gear" is a pretty generic statement. I'm guessing automatic trans and shifter can't be moved out of park.

if it was running just fine before you took it in, and then not afterwards its up to the people who messed shit up (likely drained trans fluid vs oil) to fix it.

Check your engine oil dipstick id bet its WAY tall as they likely double filled it

Can you tell use “How it is not going into gear?”
    As in, Shifter is stuck?
Or a Shifts into D, but doesn’t move?
Does the gear indicator light show it in gear?

Definitely sounds like they dumped the trans fluid and not the oil. If that is the case, that’s going to cost them a new transmission.

I checked all the abs plugs took em out and cleaned them plugged them back in. Checked the abs fuse it’s cherry, the oil looks a tad bit overfilled but not too crazy. The techs had said it was a quart low and they had refilled it with more, Ima try and drain it alittle.
They checked the trans fluid and the diffs

It drove fine right after the service, I drove bout 6 miles to a family bbq and upon leaving I started the truck as always fired up like a charm and bam! denial from the trans. Abs and traction light on. Tried unplugging the battery to see if it’ll restart the computer, nope. Checked all the abs lines, fuses. Nothing
    Then resorted to here.

I mean I figure the trans would and could work for a little bit with it missing a lot of fluid... if you're saying your oil is over filled, its important to know how much because all signs are pointing to them draining the trans fluid then filling the engine oil so now it has almost 10 quarts in it since they didn't drain the old stuff... not trying to fear monger but it is what it sounds like.

If it is in between the 2 dots its not overfilled.
