Help! Truck won't move forward, stuck brakes or drive train issue?

    I am having the same issue, as a matter of fact this morning i could not roll backwards nor forward. I had to really push the vehicle and it let go. Did you find a solution for this? I find it odd that is more likely to happen when i wash the truck as well

    Use it or loose it. Not using the parking brake is one of the best ways to be sure to rust up parts that are supposed move. A transmission is not a parking brake.

    07 and 14 DCSB 4x4 Tacoma
    when the rear brakes locked up on my '07, it ended up being the ebrake cable had worn through at one of the straps that hold the ebrake cable in place and had rusted the ebrake cable. Had to replace the whole cable in my case.
