Hey all, I’m reaching out to see if anyone might have some suggestions for me. I have a 2017 Tacoma TRD Off Road that i had lifted about a year ago. I am running a 3 inch lift kit from Old Man Emu with 20x10 Arkon Ceaser rims and 33x12.50x20LT Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Since installation, I have had a shake in my steering wheel that is worse on some days than others along with an annoying vibration in the rear. I have had the tires balanced numerous times (couple of those times being road force balanced) along with driveshaft shims installed and have still not had success. Any suggestions?

Remove mods one at a time until vibration disappears or switch wheel setup with another and see if problem changes to other ?

A lot of variables here with your suspension mods, so kind of hard to keyboard diagnose. Hopefully someone with a similar setup can help. Good luck.

Does it go away if you shift to 4x4?

I would consider changing it back to stock.

To me this really seems like a tire issue.

Do you have any Tacoma friends nearby that you can swap tire/rims with, just to drive it around and see if it fixes it?

The lift really shouldn't lead to anything felt in the steering like you are describing.

3" lift is pushing it. 2" is ideal, 2.5" is considered the defacto absolute max for a conservative lift with a lower likelihood of vibes.

Did you replace the factory/stock UCAs with some other UCA capable of giving the front wheels more camber?

Did you get your truck aligned after the lift was installed?

Are you talking about the carrier bearing drop kit? I think the ome lifts come with it....
Might need to consider shims for under the leaf springs also.?
