You've basically been halfway done then.

Removal of seats, console and all lower trim is required to include the underseat storage in the back. It's pretty straight forward, if the carpet goes underneath something it's got to be removed easy enough but so many little stages that it takes a pretty good long while; I do not recommend doing it on a time restraint.

I strongly recommend cleaning the floor pan under the carpet before install of new flooring be it more carpet or the rubber flooring.

^Thanks in advance. I was planning to set aside 3-4hrs. Do you think that's enough time? I want to get everything in before a trip in 2 weeks as it would make the trip even sweeter to finally get a load of mods installed.

You can probably get it out in that amount of time, I don't know about getting it back in. It really depends on how anal you want to be about trim being perfect and not broken

^If I'm going to do it, I'll do it right. So I will not stop until it looks as perfect as I can get it.

That's why I'm asking in advance, as I don't want to not get myself into a situation where it takes me 6-8hrs. :anonymous:

    Just some stuff...
I'm curious. Are you doing this to replace it with new carpet or are you getting rid of it entirely?

A few guys swap out the floor carpet for an all weather rubberized flooring. The rubber flooring is a genuine toyota item that you purchase thru a dealership. Fitment is usually spot-on and perfect.

I'm assuming this is what the OP is doing.
