help w/ running lights as turn sigs

Qustion about the running lights as turn sigs mod.

Hey I just tried this mod and I blew a fuse, do you know what would cause this.

I have the dtrl mod with LEDs in turn sigs and running lights. I wired it all up and when I went to use the blinker, they went out(no hazards or blinker) but the still worked as running lights.

the LEDs should use less power right?

 

I did this same mod but without any LED's and never had any problems. Are you sure you have them wired right? I know thats a dumb question but it happens sometimes.

 

I used quick spilces:

I ran a wire from the white/black running light to red/yellow turn sig.

Hey Vision did you ever get this figured out as to why you were blowing fuses? I went through 3 fuses yesterday trying to figure out why they were blowing with no luck.
