    Hello all,

I have a 2nd gen lifted 6" and in need of axle shims to reduce an annoying vibration. Unfortunately I have yet to find a thread that describes what degree angle to buy for a 6" or even what brand. Any suggestions/prior experience in the matter would be fantastic. Thanks in advance.

measure your driveline angles first.... blindly putting shims in isnt going to do much.

There are no answers to your question. Every situation is different.

Who installed your 6" lift? If you had a shop install it for you....go back to that shop and tell them to fix it. They should know 'about' what you need. Even so..... it might not be right.

Trying to diagnose drive-line vibes & figuring out driveline angles IS (or can be) ROCKET SCIENCE. It's not something you can guess at..... and sometimes, it can get complicated requiring you to spend $$$ to fix it.

Read this .... you'll get a better respect for the science.
