Help!!!! What is this?

Can anybody tell me what this is? I want one

 

I've seen that vid before, it looks home made.

It's a half moon shaped thing that attaches to the lug nuts and get a truck unstuck if that helps

 

Get a tow strap or a winch.

That thing appears like it attaches to your lug nuts somehow. Can you say...lug nut and stud breakage??

looks like a lot of stress on the studs, shit if your open diff that be useless. what I've seen is using tow strap, similar to that but the strap goes around the whole tire.

 

I could see someone reading the ad and seeing that picture put this onthe front of their pre-runner or 5 lug Taco. The next thing out oftheir mouth would be that it says it fits standard 2wd vehicles and Iinstalled it exactly how the ad shows but it didn't help me get my truck from being stuck.

 

You can do the same thing with the driveshaft you already have on your truck .
Beleive it or not , a revolving driveshaft will pull you out of a sticky situation if you wrap the strap properly .

Looked for a video , but couldnt find one .
Say you are stuck in mud and the rear wheels just spin . This means that the driveshaft also spins .
Grab a long strong strap and tie it to the driveshaft . Tie the other end of the strap to a tree .
Select forward or reverse and the strap is going to continue wrapping around the driveshaft and eventually pull you out .

 

Ok I see haha. I also sounds like a good way to break a drive shaft haha

 

And the pulley attached to the lug nuts sounds like a good idea to you?

 

Wouldn't maxtrax be a simpler solution?

 

the pulley or the driveshaft method seem like they'd be about the same to me... both a complete LAST resort! I saw these advertised from an Australian company a while back and if I remember correctly, even the company selling them only recommended them if there was no other option..

 

As in a spacer?
