I am very confused. I want the plug and play halo projector headlights. I am sure there are some of you out there that have done this. Please give me some guidance. I probably would like smoked but chrome would be ok too.

Let me know the pros and cons. Thanks everyone

Halo projector are going to require that you change your housing... and the pattern on the ebay halo projectors (and most others) absolutely sucks.
With HID, they're only slightly worse than stock.
With halogen, you'd be better off holding a Maglight out the window.

Just buck up and disassemble your stock housings and do a proper projector retrofit.

CARiD.com has a big selection. I bought a set of the SPEC-D black projector/ Halos. They are well made and inexpensive, but the lighting power is down from stock a bit. They are easy to install, though. I wasn't a member when I replaced my lights and I didn't know about the other options, like the one above. It'll come down to your mechanical experience level and cost..

If price isn't a question, do a retrofit. If you don't want to do it yourself, there are guys on here that will build you a new set. Pros: The light output is awesome on a proper retrofit.. Cons: $$

Who would have a set already retrofitted. I would consider buying them done. Looked into it and it looks like an awful lot of work and just don't have the time.

Either go with him or do the retrofit yourself. The d2s is a direct fit. That's the one I went with for an easy retrofit.

i bought a set of spec D off ebay, easy enough to put in and I thought they looked good, I liked the Halo lights, then one of the low beem bulbs burnt out after 3 months, so I drove home with the hi beems on and the lenses started to melt after an hour of driving
